Below are the monthly meeting minutes for the Herkimer County Snowmobile Trail & Trade Association. Regular meeting are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month.Meetings will be :October 13, 2004 - November 10, 2004, December 8, 2004, January 12, 2005, February 9, 2005, March 8, 2005, April 13, 2005, and May 11, 2005.

HCSTTA minutes of 04/08/04 meeting

Present Bob Shaver, Pat Deyle, Tom Lacomb, Bill Clary, Chuck Robinson, Thursty McKusick, Mike Denapole, Frank Boepple, Ruth Boepple, Marty Bull, Joe Polcaro, Norm Scianna, Jim Murphy, Dean Jones

Called to order 7:05 PM

Reading of minutes from last meeting Motion - Pat Deyle Second - Frank Boepple - to accept minutes as read

Treasurers report Motion to accept - Mike Denapole Second - Marty Bull

Mike Denapole & Marty Bull gave NYSSA report including:

- Spring raffle - included 4 winners from our area

- Report on last weeks NYSSA forum

- Clubs must report all accidents that they are aware of occurring on their trails to NYSSA as soon as possible.

Discussed S46 trail with Joe Polcaro and Norm Scianna of the Trackside Blazers. They agreed to clear out the fallen trees in the trail for next year’s season. Also to check with DEC regarding trail improvements.

Pat Deyle explained the trail funding paperwork and the topo map. The 70% check will be received by November 3rd.

The Trail Fund Workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday July 13th 7:00 PM at the Ilion Snowdrifters clubhouse.

Motion - Tom Lacomb Second Thursty McKusick - to appoint Mike Denapole Director and Marty Bull Alternate Directors to NYSSA

Motion - Frank Boepple Second - Marty Bull - to have Chuck Robinson order 600 more sign posts @ $1.25 ea. 100 posts will go to West Canada as we missed them on the last order. We will store them at Chuck Robinson’s and distribute them this fall. Clubs will be responsible for painting the posts this time around.

Motion - Marty Bull Second - Chuck Robinson - to continue the 911 sign program. We will pay for 20 more signs for each club. Clubs may also order extra signs at the cost of $10 each. Mike Denapole will coordinate the program again this year.

Motion - Tom Lacomb Second - Frank Boepple - To elect the same Officers for 2004 - 2005 year.

Treasurer - Pat Deyle

Mike Denapole will get prices from a couple of vendors for selling and printing of the County map. He will bring back the information the for May meeting. We must make our decision then so the map can be ready for the next riding season.
